Arts Denman has once again received the support of Denman Works to implement an economic enhancement initiative specifically for the artists of Denman – the Arts Denman Marketing Project Phase 2. Here’s what will be offered:
1. The opportunity for low-cost inclusion in the annual full colour Denman Island Art Guide Brochure with a Central-Vancouver-Island-wide distribution of 2000. You can view last year’s guide here, but please note that this year’s guide will be a new design. (Deadline for inclusion is JANUARY 16, 2012. Download your application here.)
2. The opportunity to participate in the Art Studio Tour in August, with sponsored promotion and an improved studio map.
3. The opportunity to partake of a series of educational panels and workshops addressing marketing and small business issues for artists.
4. The opportunity to have your island events promoted free of charge through artsdenman.com andthe upcoming artsdenman.com artist’s blog.
This year’s project team is:
Leslie Dunsmore, volunteering her time once again as Project Manager, with the following part-time contract workers:
Marketing Manager Bronwyn Simons,
Art Guide Distribution Manager Mary Hicks,
and the new, as-yet-to-be-named Studio Tour Manager.
All of the team members will be working part-time within limited hours, and unfortunately can’t always be available to answer your questions. To facilitate prompt, easy, and professional communication between team members and the public, we’ve set up regular office hours*, and a dedicated phone and e-mail.
